Well this is the end of another term - this one has absolutely flown by! We have had class assemblies, created some beautiful pots, learned about prime numbers and factors and about Humanism. We have written some explanation texts and some non-chronological reports about space and how to become an astronaut - our learning from our science! All of this plus loads more!
Have a wonderful Easter break and see you in the new term!
Happy Easter!

Week ending 28/02/2025
Welcome back!
What a first week back! In maths, we have started to learn about volume - we used playdoh to see that not matter what the shape is, if you use the same amount of playdoh, the space it takes up will be the same and therefore it will have the same volume.
We have also started to design our own planets in English. We are eventually going to be writing some Non Chronological reports about our planets, which will be great!
In science, we have started to learn about space, and we really started it with a BANG! With our visit to the Space Centre!
Take a look at some of our pictures!
Well, we are almost at half term and we have had such a busy time! We have been exploring forces in science, thinking about friction, air resistance and water resistance. We completed some really fun experiments to go along with this - have a look below!
In addition to this, we have been learning about multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000 in maths, we have learned about Sikhism in RE, our grammar knowledge is ever increasing with the help of MC Grammar (see videos below!!!) and we are about to start some serious map reading, learning about 4 and 6 figure grid references!
I'm sure lots of you have seen the weaving we have done in art, this became a real passion for many of us (photos to follow...).
Don't forget parent's consultations next week! We're looking forward to seeing you there.
This term we are using a lot of songs to help us remember our grammar! Here are some links so you can practice at home:
