Autumn

Year 4 had an amazing opportunity to meet temporary traffic management experts and a wildlife coordinator! During their visit, the children were able to explore the world of road safety and environmental health (including some learning on global warming!) through some engaging activities, including: using their teamwork and collaboration skills to complete large puzzles, find key words in a word search, design an environmental logo, exploring a traffic van, learning about how traffic lights work, looking at road signs and experiencing a real-life temporary traffic expert hard at work through a VR headset!

In addition to this, we took part in the BBC live lesson. We also read the book 'Grumpy Frog' and talked about how Grumpy Frog could be a little kinder in the way he treated people and gave suggestions about how he could make friends.
