We have had a fantastic first few days back and the children have settled into Year 2 wonderfully. It has been lovely to see everyone getting to know their new routines and enjoying being back at school.

In English, we have been learning all about nouns and verbs. The children have been exploring the difference between common and proper nouns and are becoming confident at identifying them in sentences.

In Maths, we have been exploring multiples of 10. The children have been practising adding multiples of 10, estimating where different numbers would sit on a number line and exploring the many different ways that numbers can be represented.

It has been a brilliant start to the year. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
