The theme for this year’s Anti-bullying week is ‘One Kind Word’ which will take place from 15th - 19th November 2021. During the week, the children will be taking part in PSHE activities around the theme in addition to identifying what actually constitutes bullying and what we can all do to help.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. We will be encouraging children to carry out little acts of kindness throughout the week and beyond.
The Anti-bullying Alliance defines bullying as the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It can happen face to face or online.
