Post SATs Celebrations

To celebrate the end of SATs week, we went to The Playground in Waterbeach where we had so much fun! The children showed great determination, resilience and team work.  We loved watching them encourage and cheer each other along.

This week is SATs work.  The children have been working extremely hard and showing great resilience and determination to achieve their best.  We are very proud of them all. 

We have also been exploring the artwork of Terry Gilecki.  We explored different techniques for creating images which look like water: watercolour on oil pastels; watercolour on felt tip pens; watercolour on oil; oil on watercolour; watercolour on candle wax; watercolour and salt, dropping watercolour; and just watercolour.
